Do I start every post with..."Wow, it's been a long time coming or I can't BELIEVE how long it's been since my last post", survey say:YES!!! Well, all the above is true, then I put some kind of line in about how busy I am, again true, so now that we are all on the same page, lets get started! We are getting more and more comfortable as the days move into fall here, I of course am always throwing my pennies in the wishing well with hopes of an Indian Summer. Speaking of summer this has been a really good one. I like to make recap lists, maybe too much but here I go...We had Kari and Jeremy's wedding to start us off, met amazing new friends and got to turn some acquaintances into friends, definitely a high-lite! Then as the galls of TOC and I prepared for our biggest event to date I had a lovely birthday party at the Dunn Gardens with a girl scout theme, and let me say that some capitol F-U-N was had! All the while one of my best childhood friends came for a visit from England and brought her man for a two week stay, we had the kind of time we have needed to have together for the first time in years! We then headed H-O-M-E for a long overdue stay in the great Midwest, I am one lucky girl, thanks to my darling husband, I was able to stay 18 days, where we just hung out with our families, friends, their beautiful and growing children, soaked up the sun, rode in boats on bikes, made good food, looked at old pictures and reminisced!!!(pictures from that trip....yet to come, I wouldn't want to spill it all in one post, every 6 months:) I really needed that I have been homesick for the past year and that cured me. So now here we are at the end of August!!!!!!! We are working hard on house and home, trying to enjoy our selves and checking things off the giant to-do list, so here it is(Kenny) pictures of the summer, including a man riding some taxidermy!! Oh and a few of my finds from the summer of course, my junking has been taken to a whole new level, it's kinda scary! Cheers to you all...

Well folks that it is it!!! Now I'm off to attend to my very mid-western dinner and plug my TV in cuz this girl got cable today!!! Ahhhh modern day amenities are kinda amazing! Not as amazing as my family and friends however.I would also just like to end on this note...Do not let life, a week, a month, or an hour pass you by! Do what you want, when you want, be with your people, move towards happiness and your own perfection because I just keep getting reminded of how we really are owed nothing and we should all be grateful for what we have!

Home Sweet Home....home is when ever I'm with you!!!

Well we have embarked on a new frontier, one that includes modern amenities such as a food refrigeration system, a stove and this handy dandy contraption that washes the dishes for me...and not even in the bathroom sink!!! It's amazing and I am certinatly grateful to join the modern world again, I'm 100 boxes, 75% of my wardrobe, a nice set of sheets, the contents of my studio and TV away from the old me.

In the mean time we are pecking away at our place with a little help from family and friends!(Bruce and Janine were here recently and helped a ton along with Jesse)Now we are preparing another room for my sister (Rhiannon) to move here,in two weeks I'll be heading to Denver to pack her up and christen her move with a sister road trip! Jessica, Allison and I have officially started our business...Table of Contents Events, check out our website tableofcontentsevents.com we have 2 weddings on our books for the summer and have had a few orders on Etsy and are THRILLED about it all! I just landed an internship with a very talented and interesting surface and materials designer, which officially started today. So life is full in a good way and can I say it has been really nice to cook again, I forgot how much we love to have people over and entertain, consider this an open invitation to come visit!!! Spring is just around the corner!! Oh and I painted the wall black, yup shiny black, I know it seems a bit like wearing white after labor day to all those traditionalists out there but I think im in love....
